X-Bond Microcement is now officially CodeMark certified — giving you verified confidence in its performance and compliance across a wide range of applications.
This independent certification confirms that X-Bond meets the requirements of the National Construction Code (NCC/BCA) and is approved for use on internal, external, and wet area surfaces — including floors, walls, and joinery.
What is CodeMark Certification?
CodeMark is a government-backed, third-party building product certification scheme.
It provides assurance that a product complies with the relevant building codes and standards in Australia. Certification is issued following thorough technical assessment and audit of the product, its system, and the application process.
Once a product is CodeMark certified, it must be accepted by building certifiers and surveyors, making the sign-off process on-site easier and faster.

IMPORTANT NOTE: All installations must be carried out by trained and licensed X-Bond installers, following our certified system and installation guidelines. To maintain compliance with our CodeMark certification, all products used — from waterproofing and preparation to application and sealing — must come from the approved X-Bond System. This includes using SEMCO Liquid Membrane for waterproofing as part of the certified system.
