Trade Access Terms & Conditions
Seamless Overlays Pty Ltd ("the Supplier")
These Terms and Conditions apply to all purchases made through the X-Bond Trade Access program. By completing a purchase, you ("the Purchaser") acknowledge that you have read, understood and agreed to the terms below.
1. Nature of the Trade Access program
X-Bond Trade Access allows trade professionals and experienced applicators to purchase X-Bond materials without attending in-person training at our Melbourne facility. This program is intended for experienced tradespeople — including renderers, plasterers, tilers, concreters and other surface finish professionals — who have the relevant skills to apply cementitious or resin-based products.
X-Bond Trade Access is not a certification program. Purchasers are not assessed, verified or endorsed by Seamless Overlays. Purchasers may not represent themselves as "X-Bond Certified" or imply endorsement by Seamless Overlays in any marketing, quotes or client communications.
2. Purchaser responsibility and assumption of risk
X-Bond products are complex chemical formulations. Application outcomes depend heavily on surface preparation, substrate condition, climate, and the skill and experience of the applicator. By purchasing through Trade Access, the Purchaser acknowledges and accepts the following:
• The Purchaser takes full responsibility for the application, outcome and quality of any installation carried out using materials purchased through this program
• Seamless Overlays provides online instructional resources as a guide only. These resources are not a substitute for professional training, on-site judgement or experience
• Results will vary depending on the Purchaser's skill level, surface preparation, environmental conditions and adherence to product guidelines
• Seamless Overlays accepts no liability for installation outcomes, finish quality, adhesion failure, or any loss or damage arising from the use of products purchased through this program
The Purchaser agrees to hold Seamless Overlays harmless and indemnify Seamless Overlays against any claims, costs or liabilities arising from the application, use or misuse of products purchased through X-Bond Trade Access, except where such liability arises solely from a manufacturing defect in the product itself.
3. No warranty on installation outcomes
X-Bond Trade Access products are sold without warranty on installation outcomes.
Seamless Overlays does not warrant the results of any installation carried out by a Trade Access purchaser. No guarantee is made regarding finish quality, durability, adhesion or appearance where installation has not been performed by an X-Bond Certified Installer.
Important: Under Australian Consumer Law, you retain statutory rights in relation to the product itself — including the right to a remedy if the product is found to be genuinely defective or not fit for purpose due to a manufacturing fault. These statutory rights are not excluded by this agreement. What is excluded is any warranty or liability relating to installation outcomes, which are the sole responsibility of the Purchaser.

4. Use of online resources
Trade Access purchasers receive access to Seamless Overlays' online instructional video library as part of their membership. These resources are:
• Provided as a guide to assist experienced trade professionals
• Not a substitute for in-person training or hands-on experience
• Subject to change or update at any time without notice
• For the personal use of the registered Trade Access member only and must not be shared, redistributed or reproduced
Access to online resources is non-transferable and linked to the registered account holder.
5. Pricing and payment
• All materials purchased through X-Bond Trade Access are sold at retail pricing
• Trade Access pricing is separate from and higher than the wholesale pricing available to X-Bond Certified Installers
• Full payment is required before goods are dispatched
• Pricing is subject to change. Costs for materials, packaging, manufacturing and freight are variable and may be updated without prior notice
6. Use of materials
Materials purchased through X-Bond Trade Access are for use by the registered Purchaser on their own projects only. The Purchaser agrees not to:
• On-sell or supply X-Bond materials to any other person or business
• Use materials in a manner inconsistent with Seamless Overlays' product guidelines
• Represent themselves as an X-Bond Certified Installer or imply endorsement by Seamless Overlays
7. Warranty void conditions
Any product warranty — to the extent one applies under Australian Consumer Law — is voided if:
• Alternative products are substituted for Seamless Overlays specified products (e.g. third-party sealers, base coats or primers) without prior written approval from Seamless Overlays
• The system is not applied in accordance with Seamless Overlays' published installation guidelines
• Products are stored, handled or transported in a manner inconsistent with the product specifications
8. Support
Trade Access purchasers receive basic support only. This covers general product questions and guidance on use of the online resource library.
Trade Access does not include access to direct technical support from the Seamless Overlays installation team. For complex technical queries or on-site troubleshooting, we recommend engaging an X-Bond Certified Installer or booking in-person training at our Melbourne facility.
10. Upgrading to certified installer status
Trade Access purchasers are encouraged to attend in-person training at our Melbourne facility to become an X-Bond Certified Installer. Certified status provides:
• Wholesale pricing on all materials
• Listing on the Seamless Overlays Find an Installer page
• Direct lead referrals from Seamless Overlays
• Full technical support from the Seamless Overlays team
• Use of the "X-Bond Certified Installer" credential
